I bought an item off of a seller on here and a day later the seller was taken off for some reason and I don’t know what to do or if I’ll get the item i ordered

I just posted a similar post. My situation has tracking provided, so I need to figure out how to properly handle this as I don't want staff at eBay or PayPal to screw me out of my refund and I receive an empty box.

Well you wait the expected time and after that if you do not receive it: you file an item not received in the resolution center:

If you receive an item that is not your item ordered; or say an empty box file an item not as described case in the resolution center. Keep that empty as you may need to send it back.

If the item shows delivered contact the shipping method and find out were the item was delivered to, get that in writing.

Then contact eBay for an item not received and how to get that information to eBay.

If the seller ships me an empty box, I've seen it mentioned that I may have to pay for shipping back to the seller in order to generate a tracking # and get my refund. Would eBay and PayPal really make me do that?! I would have to pay $40 or something crazy (because it's international) to provide a tracking number?
