So sellers can just remove feedback? I want my feedback put back up. Buyers need to know about this crazy lady. You just gonna let feedback get removed? Who's got a brain at eBay and wants to answer my question?

Sellers cannot remove feedback; only eBay can.
eBay will remove feedback if it violates one of eBay's feedback policies, or if the seller is covered by seller protections under specific scenarios.
Once it's removed it cannot be restored.
Edit to add: your feedback rating of neutral is still there, only the comment is removed. That says something you wrote violated one of eBay's feedback policies. Perhaps you mentioned a case or something like that.
If you contact eBay customer service they will remove the feedback the seller left for you because that also violates policy (leaving neg feedback comments for buyers).

Sellers cannot remove feedback.
eBay sometimes removes feedback that violates eBay policy.
eBay also removes feedback when eBay's seller protection policies protect a seller from negative feedback in a few specific scenarios.

No one at eBay will answer your question because no one at eBay is here. This is a member-to-member forum. But if sellers could remove negative feedback no seller would have any. Obviously that's not true. You said something in your comment that was against feedback policy. And only the comment was removed; the neutral is still there.

You need to report the feedback they left you and they'll get a policy violation.

It's 100% one of those situations where the seller lied multiple times. Said they shipped my package Feb 10. Did not actually bring it to USPS until Feb 19. It's 100% that situation. Thanks for playing tho!

@wastingtime101 , @melonthumper
Not necessarily. It also could mean the item purchased was something that eBay decided to hide. It happened to me on a purchase for an antihistamine. Both mine and seller's feedback comment were turned into two dashes, although there was nothing wrong with either comment.

Medication and similar category FB are hidden for privacy reasons @house*of*paws .
Feedback for handbags is not hidden, nor is the listing title, item number or seller ID. The seller's FB was not hidden, either. Completely different situation.
The original poster's feedback comment was definitely removed for violating policy, not hidden for privacy.

Yep, 100% my feedback was removed by someone.

Hey thanks for this reply. I'll never sell on eBay again since they have gotten so out of control on their fees and taxes, so her negative feedback for me I don't mind. I'd rather have my reply to her out there than have that removed also. Appreciate this response to my question tho.

There are 2 possibilities. One is the seller is honest. The distro center in the region where the seller dropped off has issues. It's very possible the seller shipped and the distro center was delayed in scanning it in and getting it out - yes, by 9 days.
I've frequently shipped items USPS that didn't get scanned the entire journey until they reached the buyer's PO. It happens. The lack of a scan does not mean the seller was lying. USPS is seriously messed up right now.
Another possibility is the seller didn't ship right away due to the funds hold. Based on the tone of the messages I tend to lean more towards the seller shipped and USPS failed to scan.
The seller was correct about the funds hold for new sellers (and that seller is classified as a new seller due to their low volume). You were wrong about the funds hold. Your payment cleared to eBay, but eBay didn't release the funds to the seller.
(Edit to add: this reply may seem out of context now, but it was in response to the direct message exchange between buyer/seller.)

After reading your 'Reply #11', I'd be ready to open an Item Not Received claim. Heck with feedback... make yourself whole.
If you're (at least) one day past the Estimated Delivery Date on the order, open an INR claim. Good luck.

Sure, no problem. Just know that after 30 days you can't get it removed so if you think you might change your mind it's better to act now.
The feedback being on your page is more impactful to you as a buyer since sellers can see it when you use the make offer function or bid on auctions.

Well, I read them... but I hadn't checked the feedback before I replied. Open the INR claim if it's time to. Furthermore, do as @wastingtime101 suggests. You don't want that improper response on your feedback page. Good luck and good golly...

Gotta disagree with you on that, Miss M. Opening a non-receipt claim will go nowhere as there are active tracking scans so all that will happen is the INR hangs open until delivery, then it will close in the seller's favor after delivery.
Edit: actually, I think the item was already delivered.
