I bid on ian tem, upping the bid three times. Still the item was going really cheap, but the seller canceled the auction. From reading the policy on auction cancelations, it appears what he did was within the rules. I still woild like to complain to ebay, however. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Ebay is not going to force the seller to sell it to you at the last bid price.

A complaint about something that is within the rules is probably not going to be given much weight.

You can’t make a complaint to eBay. Just move on to another seller. Sellers are allowed to end auctions early and they do get charged fees for doing so. There’s no complaint to make.

Sellers toy, they can do what they want with the item up to the point it sells and then they can do something after as well.
