When I want to buy something(I have quit selling for reasons others have) it takes me a lot of struggle to get the new security measure to accept an input. I just had a long ordeal buying a small item even though I have been here many years and no problem till lately. I click the pictures to no avail. I back out of the purchase and try again and again till it either stops checking me or is satisfied. This has made me decide to use alternative online purchasing sources whenever possible just because now this one is a PITA to use. No I will not change to a big tech spyware browser to see if that helps. I usually get right up to logging in to PP and clicking PAY NOW but often it is when I initially click on the item to purchase it. That is supposed to stop BOTS??? No use at all for something like a person that steals info so IMO a waste of my time.

Those security measures make it hard for hackers to use automated tools to try to sign in to eBay accounts using multiple attempts to try different passwords. That makes it harder for hackers to hijack accounts and makes it less likely your account will be hijacked or you will be involved in a transaction with a hijacked account.

Yes this new security is constantly checking pages that make no difference. I do appreciate security! Now on mine it won't even let me relist an item. It just sits and spins forever while I get farther behind. I waited for several minutes and tried to relist several ways. No luck, just catches me and sits and spins. Finally went to saved inventory and it listed from there. I understand security but I am doing nothing shady. The pages it checks me on are about pointless. If I try to look at my feedback it always pops up and stops me but it works fine. It stops me dead when I am trying to do business. This place just gets crazier everyday. Almost all new features need work arounds. I don't think any of the techs know anything about selling. Ebay is getting more and more like a bad video game. Hunt and search try to find something. I am about to give it up.
