Hi ppl,
Need your help.
I bought 4 lots of rose petals from one seller.
He only sent me 2 lots.
How do I open a claim?
The only option I see is to return the item. I want to keep the 2 lots but I need a refund for the other missing 2 lots

Were they from different listings by the same seller?
If so, start return requests on those listings for Missing Parts or Pieces.
Otherwise, if all 4 are from one listing, you'll see a dropdown for quantity --
when you start a return request on that listing:Again, use the reason Missing Parts or Pieces.
Follow the instructions to come back and Ask eBay to stamp in it and yell.

You do not want to return anything you want a refund for the order not being as described. The order was for 4 items not 2, so it is not as described.
Click on the Resolution Center button at the bottom of any ebay page, select "I received an item that does not match the seller's description". On the next page click on Returns, Missing Items and refunds for buyers. Continue from there.
If you select item not received, and the seller provided a tracking number that shows delivery you will lose that dispute, and you cannot open another.

You have to click on “return an order for a refund”. That’s the only way to do it. For an SNAD you have to open a return request. A refund without a return can be worked out that way.

Did you contact the seller? Give them a chance to fix the problem before opening a case against them.
