1st- double check the listing you bought and be sure what it said. If it did in fact NOT say 'plated' then:
Go to your 'my ebay' and then your 'purchases' and on the right, start a return using 'not as described' as a reason.
You will then get a 'free' shipping label- write down the tracking number and watch it, when it shows delivered seller has 48 hrs to refund, if they don't, go back and 'escalate to ebay' (for your refund)

You will be covered if you did receive a purchased item that is not as described. Please read the Ebay MBG to better understand your protections. It is important to follow the rules correctly if you want to be covered.
To request a return, select the item you want to send back from your recent purchases.
How to request a return through My eBay

Go to your purchase history click on the More Actions button, select Return the item, select as the reason Does not match pictures or description. Doing that will open a dispute, which will appear just above your purchase history. Your seller will have 3 days to reply to the dispute by either sending you a return shipping label, or if they do not want to pay the return cost, issuing a refund. If they do not reply on day 4 you can ask ebay to step in.
If the seller sends you a message that does not appear in the dispute, asking you to send it back, or to close the dispute, so they can refund you. Open the dispute and use the ask ebay to step in button.
Because of your location, your seller may have to send you their address and ask you to ship the item to them with tracking, and then refund you including the return shipping cost, once they receive the ring. If that happens keep the postal receipt and take a photo of the package with the shipping label and tracking number information.
For future reference be very wary of buying jewelry from Chinese, Indian and other Asia based sellers. Check the feedback profile page of any seller before buying from one. You can do that by scrolling down a listing page until you see the seller's username in a large font. Below that will be a few comments, and under them a See All Feedback button.
Click on that and on the page that opens will be a box with the 3 types of feedback a seller can receive. You can click on the numbers of Neutral and Negatives they have received to read only those comments. Never go by a feedback percentage alone or by a top rated status.
