How do I block a seller from showing up when I search for items? I found a seller listing an item, the actual item title and description seemed to be written in either really mentally unhinged manner, or a totally trying to beg for you to look kind of way, but I messaged them a simple question, and their response told me that this person is quite mentally unwell, very rude, and very condescending, but their listing is almost always the first item that comes up when I search for this (a thing I like to collect, not important) and I want to ensure that I avoid buying anything from them by accident without realising it is them, so, how do I block them?
Also, I was wondering, is it possible to block items being sold from specific countries? There is a country that I want to avoid having any connection to or dealings with, and want to make sure I never accidentally buy anything from it.

Sorry... no way to block sellers.
On the Search page, use Filter on the left to exclude (a bit) what's shown under 'Item Location'. If nothing else, tick 'US Only'.

The link provided blocks people from buying from me, not very usefull as I am not a seller. I want to block items that are sold from this country, so I don't accidentally buy them.

Let me get this straight: You are a buyer located in Ireland and you want to block all sellers located in Ireland?
("I want to block items that are sold from the country . . .")
So it wouldn't be simpler just to jot down this seller's name somewhere?

Yeppers... I misread and mis-advised earlier. I corrected the response... read it again now. Hope it helps!

Here in the US we can use the "Advanced" search form to specifically NOT be shown items for sale by sellers. You can see the page here, but check on your home site for something similar:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/ebayadvsearch
We scroll down to the selection titled seller. Instead of "include" change the box to "exclude" and type the seller name in the box to the right. I have a list (separated by commas) that I copy/paste to that box quite often. As you can see above that excluding whole countries is going to be problematic.
Once you have narrowed down your "search" as best you can, you can likely 'save it' for use at another time.
Good luck.

It would be nice to block all sellers from China, but they'll never provide a way to block certain sellers.

@kensgiftshop
Please see message #6. Did I get it wrong? It works for me, and I have quite a few on my "list".

You can use the advanced search and - minus this, and minus that and might cut out most of them.
You should be able to block a seller from any country you want to.
When I search for items in US, I want the seller in the US, not from China dropshipping from the US.

Of course, but if I don't want to see items from YOU, I can put kensgiftshop under exclude sellers and I won't be shown any items from you no matter where you are located for that search. You could be from China, US, or drop shipping from Walmart in Pakistan and I will never see your stuff.
I would agree, of course, if we could block by COUNTRY of registration (with a list separated by commas) as well.

Where on earth did I say I wanted to block sellers in Ireland? Why would you intentionally misconstrue what I said like that? "There is a country that I want to avoid having any connection to or dealings with, and want to make sure I never accidentally buy anything from it. ", where do you see "Ireland" written? I never said anything about Ireland, I never mentioned the name of the country I want to block.

My most sincere apologies. Have no idea where that came from.

I take offense to the idea that anybody would assume that I don't want any connection to my country that I very much love, or that I have some degree of dislike for it or anybody trying to sell from it.
