ebay places the Square trade warranty ad on most all personal electronic device listings. However, some items are not elligible for the warranty. If you check the link you were given, in the long list of options near the bottom of the page is "see elligible phones/items". Check it out to see if the device you bought is elligible.

Actually the warranty is only placed on the listing IF the item is eligible.

Do you see the warranty on your purchase history? If it’s not there, you can still buy it. The warranty is only placed on the listing if the item is eligible so obviously your item WAS
eligible. You can purchase the warranty within 30 days after you bought the item, from the post-purchase reminder email-didn’t you receive one? Looks like there should be on option to buy it on the order details page on your purchase history too.
