Price difference between cart and item page

Have an item in my cart, and it says $7.00

. Then I click buy and ebay shows it's 27.99 (price shown on page)

Why am I getting different prices, and how can I buy at the price in my cart?

@devicemodder16,

You may be seeing different prices because you added an item to your cart from ebay's Canada based site (www.ebay.ca)  and the other you found on ebay's U.S. based site ( ebay.com )  or vice versa.  You have posted your issue on the U.S. site, so I am guessing that is why the price differences.

It could also be that because of the proposed tariffs the seller raised the price or maybe they just decided to raise it.  When you add items to your cart, it freezes the info in the listing whereas items saved in a watch list show changes to a listing as they happen.

As far as I know, both are ebay canada. (Use only the app on my phone). So, I guess I'd have to buy at the more expensive price then?

I found the seller's listing, it's $27.99 or best offer, but currently 30% off at $19.59 and there are no listing revisions which means they haven't changed the base price at all.

This is unrelated to you using the .ca site / app as you can clearly see both the US and CAD pricing in both screenshots.

Your first screenshot shows in your cart the original $27.99 with a strikethrough and $7.00 price.

If you're still seeing the $7.00 price in your cart now then yes, you can buy at that price, and it probably means you had an offer and it's still active. Once the offer expires you will no longer be able to access that pricing @devicemodder16 .

Must be a glitch, cause I go to check out and the buy page shows 27.99 us shipping

The only thing I can think of that would explain this, would be if the seller had sent you an offer for $7.00, and then retracted the offer, or it has expired. It would have been sent by mistake, the previous sale for that item was for $20.00, and $7.00 seems too low a price. Your shopping cart is still showing the incorrect price, but it's not available any more because the offer has ended.

You should be able to purchase for the current price which is $19.59, as @wastingtime101  said, or you could make an offer. But the 30%-off seems like a good buy.
