What to do or is this allowed?
I encountered a seller whose storefront and profile banners and icons are nude photos and sometimes pornographic. I've reported twice to eBay yet they've done nothing. I'm not opposed to this type of material at all, but everything has its place and I stumbled upon this seller while looking for comic books with my 10 year old daughter. After reporting both times, I've checked back from time to time and to see if they actually contacted the seller as they stated they were going to and what I have found is that the seller changes the banners and icons to a different nude/pornographic image.
Not only is this inappropriate for kids, but it makes eBay not safe for work.
Any input is appreciated.

but there are some adult comics , They belong in the adult area.
I've had 70s underground comix listings pulled from the Comic Book category.
This also taught me that putting NSFW in the title annoys the bots.

Uhhhh... I thought the Everything Else section WAS the 'adult' section of eBay. It has a non-adult section?
Wonder if I need to be shopping there to find more interesting and fascinating things that don't fit well into any of the standard categories.

In all the years of looking on ebay, profile pictures are something I never focus on or really notice. I am more focused on what i am buying instead.

it's sick. I am reconsidering selling on ebay now at all. There are sellers with hundreds of porn images and even dead fetuses that under no special category. I have reported individual items with nothing done about it.
So is this the norm now that we have to run across this stuff?

there's porn all over ebay I see that is not in a restricted area. Ebay is doing nothing about it. There is also postmortem pictures of children and babies including dead fetuses. How is it that we have to see all this? Ebay is losing my business.

You have responded to a topic that is over 2 years old, and to a member who hasn't posted in about the same amount of time.
It might help us if you told us what search title you used and/or categories you found the images in. I know there are images that can be found using some general searches, some might consider offensive.
