I bought a voodoo altar set from this buyer.I tcontacted him before I bought it and afterwards...no response. It's going over a week and it's still showing paid but the buyer hasn't responded to my messages.I know he has to be checking my messages because I saw where he been giving feedback when he's shopping on ebay. lol so he's spending the money I gave him for the product I bought him but yet I haven't received any responses or information.I sent him 3 messages over 8 days and nothing. So I decided that I would cancel it.Has anybody waited over a week without any response from a buyer.I think this is ridiculous. It would be different if something occurred with him to where he can't respond but he's obviously on ebay buying stuff but not responding to his messages. This is so frustrating

Leaving a negative is very poor form, you have no idea that this item has not been shipped and the seller should have been given the benefit of the doubt at least until the estimated date for delivery.
You are covered by eBay's MBG you just have to follow the process. I do hope when you receive the item you offer to revise this feedback for the seller and thank you for posting here.

Sellers are not required to communicate with buyers under eBay rules. While eBay does allow buyers to request a cancellation of a transaction up to one hour after it is made, sellers are not required to accept the request even if made within that first hour.
Your only alternative is to, if the item hasn't arrived by the final day of the estimated delivery period, open an INR dispute the following day.
By the way, it usually isn't wise to leave feedback until everything is resolved.

Check the shipping status in your purchase history, to see if the seller marked the item as "shipped"? If it is marked that way, then they have shipped, but may not have purchased tracking for the package, which is not required by ebay.
You purchased the item after business hours on June 30. Which means your payment would not be received until sometime on the 1st or 2nd. The seller is shipping via USPS Parcel Select and ebay's Estimated delivery time frame is 7-10 days. However, eBay's estimated delivery time frames do not always match the USPS' delivery time frames or make allowances for non business days Sat. Sun. National holidays. If the seller shipped on Saturday the 2nd, it may not have left their local P.O. until Tuesday the 5th. USPS estimated delivery for ground is 8 days. Ground mail gets the lowest handling priority so your item may not arrive until next week.
Your seller's feedback profile shows that prior to the feedback you left they had only received 1 other negative shortly after the started selling several years ago, they have received some neutral feedback saying their communications were poor. Otherwise less 1% of their almost 500 feedback show they have had issues. If you get the package by then and are happy with the product, you should ask the seller to send you a feedback revision request so you can change the feedback.

You bought from a SELLER. The seller is not required to communicate with you.
There was an estimated delivery date in the listing. Go to the Money Back Guarantee, seen in every listing, and read about the protection eBay offers buyers if/when a transaction goes wrong.
How do you know he's "obviously on ebay buying stuff . . .?

Thank you so much for the information and for responding. I have bad anxiety and I apologized and requested to give a revision. I should be more patient especially being that it was around the holiday.

Well they should be required to answer questions if they want to make more sells. Poor communication makes alot of people not want to buy and it looks suspicious too. If I'm paying someone a nice chunk of cash I better hear something if I ask where my stuff is. It's called good customer service and it should be like that anywhere you go. That's just being respectful.

I'm excited though I'm using the altar for my horror reading blog. I dropped a couple grand on some dolls. Once the altar is here I can set up and start filming my horror/thriller videos. I can't wait to shout out to these artists. I appreciate people art

Yes, I do agree that answering questions would make good business sense for a seller.
But you bought without having your questions answered. If it looked suspicious to you, then maybe you should have hit the back arrow without purchasing.
PS: Am really glad to see that you're planning to wait for your purchase and also to change that feedback.
Did you notice that "thank you for posting here"? Sometimes that means that you've been added to a seller's special list.
