The seller offers combined shipping ($8 for the number of items I'm getting versus the $71 that it's at now). They sent the invoice pretty quick for the previous couple auctions that I've purchased through them, but this time it's taking over a couple days so far (ended the 11th). The instructions on their listing are to wait for their invoice with the shipping savings. I'm doing that. But now I'm starting to wonder how long do I--or can I--wait? What is considered a reasonable time to get the requested total? 3 or 4 days? They haven't responded to "request invoice" or "contact buyer"--at least so far. Any info or suggestions out there?

Beer does sound good. It may even be the accepted solution for tonight. I'm just wondering ahead of time what people do if they just don't ever get that combined shipping invoice? Just pay the big shipping--then leave the seller a negative? And after how long a recommended wait?

Now, about that beer...

Pay when in receipt of an invoice with the appropriate combined shipping cost.

I'm glad you have a good attitude about this. I agree that it's the weekend and many people take the weekend to be with their families. Plus Monday is a holiday so there will be no mail anyways. So really the only rush is on your part. No you should not pay until you receive the adjusted invoice so just wait it out. Try out that beer for tonight and tomorrow do some house cleaning. Before you know it, you will receive your adjusted invoice and can then pay and all will be fine. Best of luck to you....

Thanks lamber9347. I'm not really in a "rush" though. No problem waiting further--was just wondering what the expectations are as to what's considered a normal time frame for invoices. Now I'm gathering that 3 days or 4 days is well within that normal time frame (especially considering weekend, holiday & all), so all's fine so far, it seems.

Now to make a stab at that housecleaning...
