Did you mean:

New User Interface

The new user interface represents a new low in human factors design. Extensive white space,  worthless use of color, poor font size, and on and on. The selected home page for a user should be compact, readable, and permit immediacy of execution. TIME IS MONEY. I don't need a page or pages that is designed to be "cute."  I want performance. If they do  away with the "classic page" I will  definitely leave Ebay for another site; and there are several now that have gained traction in the crafter space that I work in. EBAY STOP TRYING TO BE CUTE AND GET BACK TO YOUR CORE BUSINESS AND PRESENTATION!

@njmresearch,

On each buying selling home page is a "Tell Us What You Think" button. in the upper right. Click on it and let them know how you feel. That is all we can do.

Re: New User Interface

HI Yes I did that. Unfortunately they limit you to 200 characters per message. So, it appears they really don't want a considered opinion based on some facts, just a "gee, I ike it or I don't."  Its not like the design of human interfaces is something new; it just appears to be not apparently well understood by the designers of their web interface.  A quote from my old engineering days seems to apply here: "If builders built buildings the way programmers wrote programs,  the first woodpecker that came along would destroy civilization!"

Re: New User Interface

Yeah, it seems the "tell us what you think" button is misnamed.

It should be called "blow off a little steam in 200 words or less."

I don't believe that the programer's mission here is to build a better building nor a better shopping experience. It's to build a better mouse trap. Any guess who's the mouse?
