Hello, every time I click the MAKE OFFER button and fill out my offer & click submit I receive the following message:

I have been wondering myself if there is a glitch or something broken with this feature as I sent out over 75 offers yesterday morning and last night to watchers and have not gotten a single sale yet. I have used this feature since it's inception and always snag at least 2-3 sales with this feature when using it and I have never sent out say many at one time, usually it is half of what I sent out yesterday?

There is currently an issue with eBay checkout. This could be affecting the offers function, as well. Check this page for updates and try again later. https://www.ebay.com/sts

Says everything is fixed on ebay, but I’m still experiencing the same problem trying to make an offer on a listed item

I am having trouble too. Make offer showed up first day as past expiration date to respond. emailed customer and set accept offer to immediately accept the price offered so that we did not need to go through the eBay messaging system. Why as sellers do we always have to come up with work around for this failing platform?????.

I just finished sending out offers to 7 watchers. Worked just as it did several days ago.

Found this thread by googling. I'm having the same issue now where a buyer said he could not pay when i used the "send offer" function.

Yesterday I sent several offers to sellers, with no problem, and had an offer automatically accepted and paid for by a buyer. One of the offers I sent was accepted and paid for. So I was not experiencing any problems with the system.
Sometimes these errors happen for different reasons. Have you tried clearing your temporary internet files and cookie cache, then restarting your device? I find when I do a lot of searching, that some site features either slow down or do not function. So I clear out the files an cache then things start working.
If you use the app you might want to try logging in the classic way so you get full site access. The App's glitches often happen independently of the regular site. If you have other apps open on a device you are using, sometimes closing them when using ebay causes issues to go away.
If you were using a portable device away from home, the connection you had may not have been secure enough for ebay's security measures.
If you use Chrome as a browser on a computer or portable device, one of their updates could be causing conflicts. Chrome and eBay do not play well together. I suggest not allowing updates to be automatically installed, but a notification sent that one is available, which will cause a see details or similarly worded message to appear. You can then use it to search for the update, and check for known issues. If there are any they usually show up within a day or so of it being issued. If there are reports about issues, wait until a Fix is created.

Tried clearing, restarting nothing worked. This is clearly an eBay glitch.
