I'm actually the seller... I sold something on my selling account as local pickup only. The buyer does not know where to find the QR code for me to scan when they come and get the item (they actually have U-Ship coming for it)
Where do they find it? I see the spot on the Ebay app for me to scan it, but they don't know how to access the code

The buyer received a 6 digit code, which they can have U-ship give to their driver when they pick up the item. The driver gives you the code you enter it and you have proof they received it.
I do hope you realize, if u-ship damages the item in transit, you could be on the hook for a refund and possibly the cost to have it returned. I would never allow a buyer of one of my local pick up items to send a 3rd party to do the pickup.
If I did allow that, I would want the buyer there so they could inspect and/or test the item, before taking it away. I would tell the buyer to ask U-Ship if they insure items turned over to them, and have them buy it if necessary. I'd also take at least one photo of the item with the U-ship truck or driver in it. I'd also ask the driver to inspect the item for any flaws and sign a receipt stating the condition of the item at the time of pickup.

That would be in his confirmation email from Ebay.
After you've completed your purchase, we'll send an email with a Local Pickup code (a QR code and a 6 digit code) to your Messages. You can either print off your email or show the seller the message on the app when you collect your item.

Very good suggestions!
The buyer is in California, I'm in Ohio... I've seen enough episodes of Shipping Wars to know you can get a bum driver.
The funds have been released and being deposited into my bank account... not using that money until everything is good!

This is incorrect when it comes to claims filed through eBay. If @jerseyboymusic has confirmation in eBay messages that a third party is picking up the item, that voids the buyer's MBG protection.

Good news is the buyer found the codes... thanks for all the help!
