Item delivered scam

I bought some expensive supplements. They were never delivered. The seller was able to show that delivery was made. I have 24/7 motion activated surveillance cameras. Nothing was delivered. eBay denied my refund. I appealed and was once again denied. I have contacted UPS and I now have documentation that the item was delivered to a different address. How do I reopen the case and submit my proof?

Appeal the unfavorable decision, & submit the documentation, if that doesn't work perhaps PayPal or your credit card if that was your funding source.

Oh dear, you should have submitted those documents with your appeal. Not sure if you can reopen an appeal but do try.

You should have contacted eBay on Facebook @dalesman49 and mention the discrepancy with the weight shown on the UPS tracking number.

 

Now contact PayPal or your card issuer and point out that it's someone else's package, as the weight of your supplements do not match the weight shown on their UPS tracking number, to get your refund.

That happens because ebay's automated decision is based on their being a Delivered scan on the tracking information.  They cannot access any other info.

An appeal should include information that proves you did not receive an item, otherwise you will lose it. Now that you have filed an appeal your ebay money back guarantee protections are gone.  You only get one chance to appeal.  If your documentation is an email, it may not be acceptable to ebay, your payment processor or card provider, since those can be faked.    However, if you paid using PayPal try filing the item not received claim through them and if there is a place to do so add a screen shot or scan of the email to the claim.  You can request that they call UPS and confirm the address difference.

Such scams are why you should ALWAYS pay by credit card.

Dispute the purchase with the credit card issuer for a slam dunk win.

Did you get a refund? I kind got the same issue, usps says “Delivered left with individual” but the package never arrived. That was 5 days ago. Any idea how to proceed?

I just happened to me today either... “Delivered left with individual” but the package never arrived.

Somehow the guy whos pretend to send me the product faked the destination address...

I'll go to the USPS distribution unit and ask them for the delivery receipt. With that in hands I'll open the request and hope there is a an address mismatching.

I'll let you guys know what will be eBay's reply for my request.
