Invoice

Seller is saying to wait for invoice before paying but if I buy it now it wants to take me to paypal and automatically pay.. How do I wait for invoice? I don't want to lose out on this.

How is the seller telling you to "wait for an invoice before paying"? 

If they state that on a listing page, it is likely part of a combined shipping policy and does not apply to a single item purchase. 

If they have written that in a message, the seller is either new or very inexperienced and you should check their feedback profile to find out which.

In either case pay for the item then stay in touch with the seller. If you find hat they are new or have not sold anything in over a year, they may not ship in a timely manner because they do not know about the 21-30 day hold placed on new or returning sellers first few payments,  and you should tell them to do a Google search for " Payments on hold, ebay " to learn about the hold and how to get the funds released.
