Impossible Payment

I seem to have exhausted all the options of payment for an item I won at an eBay auction yesterday.

I have also tried all the troubleshooting tips described at https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/paying-items/paying-items?id=4009&st=8 but I still get the error message: PLEASE CHECK YOUR PAYMENT DETAILS OR USE A DIFFERENT PAYMENT METHOD.

I really wish to pay immediately but time is running out and I run the risk of being blacklisted by eBay for no fault of mine. I am really frustrated and would appreciate any help to solve this impossible problem.

I would suggest starting by contacting your payment sources and inquiring thru them why payment is not being accepted.

Does your seller ship to Nigeria?

I sent him a message to ask him and he confirmed that he ships to Nigeria.

I have already asked my bank and they said it might be due to network challenges at the initial time I had tried to pay. But since the problem is persisting I would have to ask them again. Thank you.

Finally!

My payment has finally gone through. Surprisingly, I did nothing different. Except that I cleared my cache and cookies before attempting again (which I had done several times before, without any success).

Perhaps I should just blame it on the network.
