I've just won my second auction ever. and i was going to pay for it when i saw that they now want 17$ in shipping? when they stated in title and in the description that it was free shipping. The seller does not want to cancel the purchase. and ebay does not respond to me what should i do next?
Thanks

Is the seller in your country? If not, did the listing offer free international shipping?

That would be unusual. What is the item number?

That auction states it's $17.04 to ship to Sweden.

Free shipping means US only. Free INTERNATIONAL shipping is what means you get free shipping. The shipping cost to your location was clearly displayed.

Unfortunately, you didn't check the "See details" under Shipping:
Which takes you here to change the default United States to Sweden.
I can understand how you could think it was free as that's what it says until you dig deeper.

I would ask to cancel transaction if you're unhappy.

While I understand the confusion since the title and description says free shipping The shippinb showed it wasn't free international. The seller may not have even realized international was on the listing since this is through the GSP which is a default that's checked. So when putting free shipping in the title and description may not have realized the confusion it would create. Also since it is through GSP they have no control over that cost. That's the cost the GSP is charging for shipping to you. The seller would still be shipping for free to the GSP location in Kentucky.

As far as I know, there is no option to set international shipping as "free", other than selecting a flat shipping option and setting the cost to $0.00.
