I want to commend eBay

It seems that many come here to bash eBay for one reason or another.  I have had my own problems and issues with eBay in the past but today I must acknowledge that eBay really came through for me and I'm very impressed.

 

I recently purchased a couple items from what turned out to be a compromised account.  eBay removed the listing but of course I had already paid.  When I realized the listing was removed and the items had not been shipped, I thought to myself "oh boy, this is going to be a nightmare getting a refund".  I thought I wouldn't even be able to open a case until after the estimated delivery date had passed.  Well I was wrong!  I went ahead and opened a not received claim and within 10 minutes, no joke 10 MINUTES, I received an email from eBay informing me that a full refund had been issued.  I was blown away!  I think eBay really is making a huge effort to protect buyers and sellers.  I know there are bad buyers out there as well as bad sellers.  Bad people in general.  I'm sure it's very difficult sometimes to differentiate the good from the bad but I think eBay is doing their best.  Sure, there's going to be mistakes here and there but today eBay has shown me that they are concerned about doing the right thing.  I mean they could have made me wait and go through the process but they didn't.  Impressive!  Thank you eBay!

You then woke up & realized that the above story never really happened and was only a Dream
