I have a problem that ebay does not recognise. How can I get help

I purchased a watch, item number 156317434508. it arrived broken so I contacted the seller who said I can return it and get refund.

Problem is that this item does not appear in my purchase history or hidden items , so there

is no way of clicking on returns

How long ago was this transaction?   Do you know your seller's ID to check if they are still active?   

Though the reply by @kensgiftshop really makes sense, there is no record of an item by that number either current, sold/completed, or worldwide. Was it correct? 

So it seems the transaction may have been  too long ago, or your seller has been kicked off the site which often removes all their activity from view as well.

The seller was from Australia and I think they only ship there.

Here's a link to the listing on eBay Australia. There were about 25 sales from that listing, between Aug 2 and Sept 24.

@drsmbland, if you click on the purchase history link with the account that made the purchase, you will be able to see your user ID shown in the list of purchases. If you don't see it there, then you must have used a different account or purchased as a guest.
