So I bought a nice virtual toy code for $17 on thursday (it was wednesday for the seller) and now it's Friday yet the seller hasn't been answering my messages
The seller DID say please select the local pickup option and he will only send the code after I send him the 6 digit pick up code but it wasn't available in my location and it wouldve costed me $3 tax if I used my fake USA address
I just want the seller to reply to me and cancel my order if I did wrong or just work our way out
Should I leave negative feedback and refund now or just wait?
I mean it hasnt been 3 business days yet, but I still don't get why the seller isn't sending me response
I am ok about getting the code late, but I am just anxious because there were like 5 feedbacks saying the seller send them the code and never replied to their message

When you checked out did you select Local Pick up? If you paid up front did you receive the code in an ebay message? If yo did why can't you send the 6 digit code in a message to the seller? All sending the code does, is say that you and the seller have completed the transaction. It is not going to cost you any more money. Read the info in the link below.
Since you are located outside of the U.S. but have a U.S. address that forwards items to you. You have to pay the sales tax charged by the state where your friend, family member or freight forwarding company is located. It does not matter if your actual location is outside of the U.S. or not the tax is charged at checkout.
To me it sounds like you need to ask the seller if they will cancel the sale, and hope they agree.

I have no idea but for some reason if I chose the local pickup option, it wouldve costed me extra $3 fee for some reason
I selected the shipping thing it doesn't come up with 6 digit code

And yeah I knew I kinda messed up when I realised choosing the pick up option was mandatory
But I still don't get why the seller won't reply to my messages it isnt like he won't get notifications

From what you have written, about the listing terms, and lack of seller response, It would seem they a probably a new seller. Have you checked their feedback profile page by clicking on the number in ( ) to the right of their username, yours is currently (5). On the page that opens look at when they registered, also click on the As A seller tab to see if they have received any selling feedback and how old it is.
If they are just starting out they may be running into the 21 day hold ebay places on all new seller's first few payments, which most new sellers do not know about. They may not respond to messages about delivery, because of the payments they've received showing Pending.

Email the seller one more time and tell them to either send you the code or to refund your money. Tell him that if ebay has a hold on his funds, if he sends you a refund, the exact amount would be unfrozen. The best way for both of you is if he cancels the sale due to buyer requested. That would release the funds to you and he gets most of the fees back. Don't bid on stuff if you are not sure that you can complete. If you do not want to pay sales tax, then don't buy.
You can also remind the seller that eventually you will open a case against him and that will put him much closer to the end of his ebay career. ( This will be true only if other buyers complain about non-delivery.)

Yeah I mean he had 250 positive feedbacks and his account was made in early 2020 eventhough he had few negative feedbacks about him never sending the code or replying
His listing ended the thing I bought was the last item he put in his listing page
I will send him one more gmail and wait one more business day

Roblox does not allow the sale of their digital items.
My guess is that Roblox found out and suspended their Roblox account.
Good thing you did not complete the sale. Your account would have also been suspended.

Under the Roblox terms of use, you cannot sell or buy Roblox items this way. Account suspension is the consequence of doing so. Further, your seller is extremely unlikely to have permission to sell digital items on any kind on eBay, even if the items are otherwise legal to sell. So, you may wish to consider taking the small loss and walking away from this.

Please clarify, you paid for this code? Ok, does it show that the seller is no longer registered? If you paid,see if you can open a case because even though the other person stated you can't buy ROBLOX items here, you paid. The seller is most likely not going to get the money. Ebay has the money and will eventually turn it over to your state. Anyway, see if you can open a case. If not, did you pay with a credit card. Then do a chargeback. And stop buying these codes here if they are prohibited.

Yeah I paid for the code and the seller is still registered
But I saw 5 recent feedbacks all being negative about the seller not sending the code and replying to messages
The estimated shipping time is around feb 14th isnt it impossible to get a refund until then?
I dont think buying codes are prohibited only buying or trading accs are but Ima keep myself away from doing that from now on

I actually looked this up before, it's not the first time this came up. Within the game you can use "robucks" as currency for trade. Using actual money from a third party over the internet is not allowed, in fact it's pirating. Here's the link, the fine print is vast...
