I am having trouble finding how and where to report an item which is not as pictured in the listing. The item I received was a poorer quality and different edition than what the seller pictured in the listing. This should be something that ebay needs to know about but I cannot find where the report this..... can anyone help please?

I tried the resultion centre but the only option seemed that I needed to return this item..... well that will be very expensive for me! I am in Australia and the item was sent from the UK..... I have already paid a very high price for shipping on this item, only to received something different that pictured! I just want to report the seller for using misleading pictures for their listing.

If the item isn't as described you should request a return using the Not As Described reason. The seller would then be responsible for paying the return shipping.

There is no way that I know of to report that the item was not as described unless you open a return case for Not As Described. Of course, you can always leave feedback, but first you should try communicating with the seller.

Thanks to everyone who has replied.

I am disappointed that Ebay does not seem to want to know about sellers who put misleading pictures on their listings. ...... that the only way to complain (if the seller won't communicate) is by asking for a return and hoping they pay for the return postage as well as fully refund the postage AND the item, if they don't have the pictured item! I decided to keep the item even thought I was very disappointed but wanted to let Ebay know this seller was using misleading pictures ..... I looked at the seller's other items since receiving mine and I see that they have a couple more listings which have misleading pictures! Yes, you can leave feedback saying such but doesn't necessarily mean that they will stop using misleading pictures..... unless enough customers complain! I thought it was against Ebay's rules..... therefore there should be some way of reporting it to Ebay, other than having to return the item!!!! This makes me trust Ebay less than I used to!
