How to report an issue with authentication center

I purchased a Louis Vuitton bag which had to first be sent to the Ebay Authentication Center in Las Vegas. The bag came with its original dust bag. Please see photo that the seller sent before shipping. When the A.C sent the bag on to me as being authentic they did not include the dust bag which was part of my purchase, just some stupid ebay dust bag. As you may or may not know Louis Vuitton dust bags sell by themselves for 30 plus dollars. IMO, the authentication center stole my dust bag and I want it back or replaced. I called Ebay and the rep said she was forwarding the call to the center, but they never picked up and actually hung up on me.IMG_2825.jpegIMG_2824.jpeg

Wow, thats awful. Forget the know nothing phone reps, go to Ebay for Business on Facebook and use the message link, good luck.

It got lost inside where they do authenticated of items..not much you can do.

Las Vegas...address on package where it came from...I would do the "reverse white pages" google using address and get the telephone number of the place and call them.

I'm sure they are working under time limits and have to work fast.  Some buyers have received the wrong item or just one shoe from a pair.  It's a roll of the dice with that program.

What’s with the ‘tude?

 

OP might find some relief in knowing there are known issues with the authentification centers and that the seller didn’t try to pull a fast one on them.

I recieved a bag today that left he seller with a shoulder strap. It got to me without the shoulder strap. The size was not listed properly and they would accept a return but the strap is missing from the time it left them to when it got to me today. How do we reach out and get this resolved. These are expensive items.

Have you tried messaging the seller? If not do that ans ask if they forgot to send the strap. If They do not reply within  a few days. Go to your purchase history, click> on the More actions button > Rerurn item, from the list select Item doesn't match description or photos and file the dispute.

 

The dispute will appear just above your purchase history, The seller will have 3 days to reply in it by either sending you a return shipping label, or issuing a refund. If they do not or message you outside of the dispute asking you to close it. On day four open the dispute and click on the Ask ebay to step in button. you will be issued a refund.

 

FYI, there is no way to contact ebay by phone directly.  You have to go to the bottom of an ebay page and click on the contact us button, fill out some info and request a call back. Even then the reps often cannot help you many times, and they cannot contact the authentication centers.
