A seller will not respond or provide a tracking number. I have waited nearly a month. Ebay says the article is on the way. It is a lie. The seller now claims they are going to be gone for a month. please help someone. Ebay has these circular help pages that I read and they keep sending me to the same old links. BUY ON EBAY HAS become a nightmare.

Sellers are not required to respond to buyer's communications nor are they required to furnish tracking numbers to buyers. With regard to filing a dispute, I recommend that you review the specifics of the MBG. If you missed the deadline for filing an INR dispute, you will most likely need to file through your funding source.

thank you . what is MBG?

I used to be able to just electronically file a claim. Can't we do that anymore?

I hate the ebay instruction boards...one leads to another and eventually you're back at the first one with nothing resolved.

Money Back Guarantee

You are covered against undelivered purchases by eBay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG).
On the original listing or at the bottom of this page is the Resolution Center.
It is automated.
IF the last estimated date for delivery that eBay (not the seller) gave you has passed, you have 30 days to file an Item Not Received dispute.
Just follow the instructions.
If the seller cannot prove delivery (not shipping, DELIVERY) you will be refunded.
If the 30 days has elapsed you can file a similar Dispute with Paypal.
Go to your PP account page and their Resolution Center is under Activities.
If the seller cannot prove delivery (not shipping, delivery) you will be refunded.
If you did not use PP, but paid directly with a credit card, you can phone the card about a chargeback. Policies differ from card to card.
If you paid with a debit card, a gift card, or from your bank account, that was an expensive mistake.

there is no link to a resolution center on either page. Now the seller said it would be delivered Dec. 13. I ordered Oct 21 it was guaranteed delivery by Nov 5. Ebay won't help me. Seriously

Ummm, you do realize that today is Nov. 5, right? So you've made six posts because the item is one day overdue.
EBay won't help until the last estimated delivery date shown in the listing has passed. On the day after that date go to the item in your purchase history. To the right of the item you'll see a 'More actions' dropdown. From that select 'I didn't receive it'.

I ordered October 21 it was posted that it would be on or before Nov 5. They never have sent a tracking number. I contacted them and asked for one. They won't reply now today they said I have to wait till the end of December. I never agreed to that when the item was purchased

Stop talking to your seller and open an Item Not Received case on the 6th of Nov using the MBG.
Follow the prompts to do this correctly - if the seller has not provided a tracking number within 3-4 days you go back to the case you opened and Ask eBay to Step in.
