I tried to buy an ink cartridge from a seller. They turned around and canceled the sale, I asked why and they said it had accidentally been thrown in the trash. Ok no big deal, however the next day when I went looking for another one cause I still needed that cartridge, I noticed the same listing was still active & showing as available for sale.
This seemed very odd to me almost as if the seller didn't want to sell to me for some reason, & had lied to me so he could sell it to someone else. I emailed the seller and got no response.
So on the third day when the listing was still active I contacted eBay support and reported the issue cause I'm pretty sure it breaks the rules of eBay selling.
On the 4th day I got a reply from the seller because I had left feedback on the canceled sale that was negative, and stated exactly why I left the feedback I did. He swore up and down that it was eBay's fault, that eBay had automatically relisted the item, it wasn't him, etc. and he wanted me to remove my feedback.
I flat out told him NO, because it was justified and correct based on my experience with the transaction, and therefore it should stay posted.
Ever since then has continually sent me emails every 3 to 4 days, or at least once a week minimum since the date of the transaction back on May 7th begging me to remove my feedback, saying I've ruined his reputation, and that no one will buy from him now, and will skip over him because he had a 100% rating & now has a 95% rating.
I have repeatedly told him to stop messaging me & to stop harrasing me. But he will NOT leave me alone. I sent him a reply today telling him no again and to leave me alone and he has sent me 6 messages just this afternoon. I can't take this anymore constantly being notified and checking my phone thinking it may be something important and instead it's this dude winding about my feedback costing him 5% off his score like it's the end of the world.
Please tell me there is some way I can make this STOP NOW!
PLEASE!

I have a few comments.
1. Ignore his messages. If you don't respond, he'll stop messaging.
2. You can report his feedback left for you and get it removed. It's against the rules for sellers to leave a contradictory feedback for buyers. Buyers can only receive positive feedback and the comment must be positive.
3. I'm just speculating as to the reason why the sale was canceled but it's something to consider. Often, sellers will look at a buyer's feedback left for others to decide whether it's a buyer they want to deal with. Because of several of the feedbacks you've left for sellers, he may have decided not to sell to you.
Again, report his contradictory feedback and request removal and then, find another seller with the ink cartridge you need and buy from that seller.

He (the seller) didn't leave any feedback for me (the buyer).
I (the buyer) left negative feedback for him (the seller) which said something along the lines of "I tried to buy the item, seller canceled, said accidently put in trash, but left listing active for sale to others, seemed suspicious, would not recommend."
But he (the seller) keeps messaging me begging me to remove my negative feedback even though I can't.
I've even told him I can't, and that ONLY eBay can remove the feedback, & will only do so under certain conditions, such as vulgar language, or hateful rude language, which my comment does not contain, so more than likely they will not remove it.
He has even gone so far as to say he "relies on this extra income" as if he uses eBay to sell rather frequently, but then also claims that it's not his fault the listing stayed active after he canceled the sale, that it's ebay's fault, like he dosent know how to use the site, which are two contradictory statements.
And for whatever reason he thinks one negative comment and a 5% drop from 100% sale scroe is going to cost him all the income he makes because absolutely no one will buy from him not cause he has a 95% score instead of 100%

Yeah I did that, just is obviously going to take them time to get to it, which means until they do something he can keep harrasing me. Idk why they don't let us block people.
I looked for how to get feedback removed, but all I see is stuff for sellers. How does a buyer get feedback removed?

To get feedback removed the seller has to send you a feedback revision request.

Not in the case of a seller who leaves a negative comment for a buyer. See post 4.

Thank you so much for letting me know about this.
I reported the seller to eBay, and contacted support about his feedback left for me.
They stated quite simply that "the seller is never allowed to leave negative feedback for a buyer." Now I'm sure there are some extenuating circumstances that do in fact allow for negative feedback of a buyer. I have no clue what those might be, but I would assume there are some.
Anyway even though his comment was negative in context, the actual feedback was marked as positive which is odd.
Anyway eBay has since removed his comment from my profile, and while they will never tell me what is done to him, They still haven't blocked him, or at least I can't tell if he is blocked from my end, as I can still look at his profile, see the messages he left me, and the feedback I left him which is still posted.
Either way thank you for taking the time to point this out to me so I could get it corrected, even though I wasn't that worried about one comment marked as positive with negative context, in the massive sea of positive buyer comments I've received over the years.

Yeah upon doing my research for ways to block him, I did come across that.
It honestly surprised me that someone who acted as though they are so familiar with eBay, and know far better than me, because they have been using eBay for so long to make extra income, despite having only been a member for 6 years compared to my 16 years, that he didn't know he needed to send a feedback revision request to me in order to ask me to change it, or contact eBay support to have it removed, and instead just kept harassing me with messages telling me to change it, as well as claiming I had ruined his ability to sell anything on eBay ever again, because no one would ever buy from him anymore because he has lost half a percentage point off his score.
He is definitely the most insain, exaggerating & delusional sellers I've ever had the displeasure of attempting to buy from on eBay, ever!
