How do you turn off the annoying live event notifications

Lately I have been getting live sneaker sale events notifications on my android phone. How do I turn this off.

Open the eBay app, go to Settings, Notifications and uncheck anything related to promotions or any category you are not actively interested in.

This doesn't seem to be an option for me. I can find reason to use each option in there. I don't want notifications for live events either and there isn't an option to check for that.

This notification for live auctions is also annoying the heck out of me. Google search brought me here. No good solution

If this is a new feature...it needs to be optional.

It's very annoying. I do not have interest in live auctions or live events on ebay.

My eBay, Settings, Notifications, Recommendations and Rewards, turn off General Promotions

Delete the stupid app and use eBay on the browser instead. That's what I am doing!

Do those auctions really work now?  Many years ago eBay had live auctions where you could bid in person or on the eBay site.  I won the item on the eBay site but was told it sold at the live auction and would not be receiving it.  eBay said I had to talk to the the live auction people and they said I had to speak with eBay.

Was the first and last live auction I ever bid.

How do I stop getting random notifications from the eBay app for Ebay Live events? So annoying! I keep going to the Settings-> Notifications section of the app but there is an error and the options are greyed out. Can someone help?

Try turning Push Notifications off and on, and see if that restores the greyed-out options.
