Haven't received my item and seller not being homest

Hi Everyone,

I bought this item on 4-22-2020. The seller never contacted me until I emailed him through eBay. He then sends me a email that says he is waiting for the funds to clear,  and my order would be on its way.

I emailed back and stated funds shouldn't have to wait to clear as it was done through PayPal.  Then he gives me a Tracking number which the USPS ( I called) said that a label was made but it has never been shipped.  It was suppose to arrive between 4-27 to 4-29.  I have emailed the seller 2 times and have had no response from them.

I recalled the USPS as I wanted to verify that they said it was to be deliverer tomorrow and it was to be done today. When I asked if it was to be delivered to Omaha NE they said OH NO its going to Deatsville AL. and it weights 0 pounds 0 oz.
So this seller out right conned me.
Also the gentleman I spoke with the second time said that its in the hands of a shipping partner not the Post Office at this time.

How did you pay?  If it was be echeck it could be that PayPal had not cleared the item to be shipped when you contacted him.

Frankly, it is, in my opinion, not a good practice to give item numbers or tracking numbers in a forum like this as it can lead to anyone that wishes to gain information that you may not wish to share with the world.

You do realize that eBay doesn't require sellers to communicate with buyers although I personally think it a good idea for them to do so, right?

You might try self reporting the thread and asking a mod to edit out the problematic information.

I reported it but then how can the ones that are knowledgeable help? 
This seller is not honest.

I have been on eBay for 21 years almost in August and I use to sell a long time ago.  And nothing like this has happened to me. 
I am just so upset.

Since the latest date of expected delivery is April 29th, today,  you can open a case for Item Not Received tomorrow. Go to the Resolution Center (link at the bottom of the page) or you can also find it in the drop down menu next to the item in your Purchase List. Just follow the prompts to make the case. Much information can be garnered by using the tracking information.  Anyone with that number can log into the USPS site to track it.  The item number can be used to gain information about what you bought and identify the seller.  Unfortunately, accusing the seller of dishonesty may require more proof to support it than your opinion, so it is best not to identify people in a published forum such as this.

Agreed, but he sent me a phony tracking number and what not. I am sure he will say it was an error.
I will wait until tomorrow, as I am kinda stuck in the waiting game right now.
Its just so darn hard as he is selling stuff that people need right now desperately.
