I paid for an item to a seller. Seller has not shipped the item. When I checked the listing on my purchase a few days later, I found out that the listing has been removed along with the their account by ebay due to policy violation. I follow the “cancel my order” prompts, but it says it will reach out to the seller (account no longer exists). How do I get my money back? Is there a person I can contact at ebay? I tried using the Contact Us Bot, but that led me back to submitting a “cancel my order” request. Appreciate if anyone can assist.

When the estimated date of delivery has past that's when you open an item not received case. Not cancel request.
Good luck.

ALL eBay buyers, as well as ALL eBay sellers need to get acquainted with eBay's Money back guarantee for buyers, preferably BEFORE beginning to buy or sell here.
In your My eBay, Purchase History, find this transaction. There was an estimated delivery date. If it's late by one day but less than 30, open an item not received case. That's all you need to do. No need to contact a person.

Hi @dawus2004
If you need the money immediately … you can do a chargeback with your credit card company this minute.
Otherwise you should file a claim with eBay as soon as the estimated delivery date passes … assuming your Purchase History still shows a way to file an ‘Item not received’ claim for that item. [You can use filing a chargeback as a backup method in case the eBay case goes sideways for some reason.]
