Getting a ebay item from Amazon?

I recently purchase something on ebay and it arrived in an Amazon Prime envelope. There isn't a return address on the package (which is most likely embedded in the bar code) and it came one day after ordering. I assume that it was sent from the seller's Amazon account (with prime).

While I'm happy to receive it so fast, I'm pretty sure this isn't allowed. As a seller, here this bothers me a little if this is the case.

Should I not care?

Getting a ebay item from Amazon?

@funkyfreshmike.2013,

as @rock.star , wrote some sellers sell on both sites so their items are delivered from Amazon.  Others use Amazon as a product source (drop shipping agent) which is allowed by both ebay and Amazon through their Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) system. All amazon packages have the smile and prime markings.

If a seller used their Prime account, there would be a gift label in the package with the item.  Use of a Prime account to buy an item at a low price, for resale is forbidden by Amazon and the seller should be reported to Amazon for doing that.

Getting a ebay item from Amazon?

Is it possible to know before ordering from a vendor that they ship via Amazon? I have been distressed to receive several items by this means recently: I order from eBay because I do not want to patronize Amazon; my wife and I canceled our Amazon Prime membership after reading/hearing news reports about the unhealthy working conditions in Amazon warehouses; I did not realize that eBay permits Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) system shipments.

I cannot stand Amazon. I ordered an item from eBay and the package came in Amazon Prime package.

I did leave in the feedback the item was great, but it shipped Amazon prime and I hate Amazon.

I did report this seller that he was using his prime account to ship order for eBay.
What a PITA locating an viable email when you don't have an Amazon account.

Finally found one that I could use.  Sure wasn't opening an account just to report the seller.
