I see you registered your account giving the U.S. as your country of registry. If the address you have as your primary one is in S.A. many sellers will not ship there and you will be blocked from buying from them. If you have engaged a freight forwarding service in this country, it can in some situations cause the loss of your ebay Money Back Guarantee (MBG) protections.
You may want to consider shopping on the U.K. based ebay site as well as on this one. Many more sellers as a percentage ship internationally from there than U.S. based ones. When shopping on the U.K. site adding your S.A. address and making it your primary will help. You can easily switch between your home and other addresses by clicking on the Account button on your My ebay summary and other ebay pages. then click on addresses and add another. Once it is there you can choose which one you want to be your primary one with a couple of clicks.
For buying one of those units on an ebay business page, any non community one. You can type in the Garmin unit you want the way you did for the title of this topic. in the category space select Consumer electronics then search. On the results page that opens, scroll down the left hand column and check U.S. only to get rid of the hundreds of china based sellers listing accessories for the unit. When the page resets at the top of the left column under category select Vehicle electronics & GPS, the page will reset again. Then scroll down to where you see the filter for Model which has 4 Garmin model numbers listed click on the one you want.
If you also want to buy accessories do not buy from any seller with a high feedback number and whose percentage is less than 98.6%, or ones advertising U.S. seller with the use of our flag symbols. They are either located in or drop ship from China, and their items are usually junk.

If you find an auction you want to bid on you will have a limit of 4 bids you can place, because of the new buyer limits on open transactions not mentioned in the above link.

experienced bidders usually place one bid for the most they are willing to pay late in the auction, I would suggest at first placing that bid with about a minute left, until you get used to the delays between the time a bid is placed and it is received by ebay.
