I purchased an item a few weeks ago. I was corresponding with a seller over an issue that arose with the item I purchased. I withhold my feedback to give them a decent chance to fix the issue. They keep asking me for more information of which I supply right away with photos. They asked for a video but I cannot include a video in my ebay mail. But I give them the same details I have given with photos. But they have not responded for almost a week.
I go to see if I can leave feedback and the button is missing.
Is this because I opened "Contact Seller" or is there another reason?

If the item was not as described, you need to worry more about getting a refund. Stop communicating with the seller. Go to your purchase history, click the Return button, and then click the appropriate reason. EBay won't ask questions or make you submit videos. They'll send you a return label and refund you once the seller has the item back.
As for feedback, if the feedback button is missing from your purchase history go to your feedback page. Above your feedback received you'll find your purchases awaiting feedback. It should be there.

You have 60 days from the purchase date to leave feedback. My best guess is that you've exceeded that. If that's true you've also exceeded the 30-day deadline to open a case under eBay's Money Back Guarantee. If you receive an item that's not as described, never let a seller string you along past the deadline to open a case.

No. It has not been 4 weeks. The purchase was on July 21. I received it July 29. So I was surprised the feed back button was missing. I will take the string along seriously as I feel this is what is happening.

This one is very easy . Do NOT communicate anymore with the seller. Go ahead and open AN ITEM NOT DESCRIBED CASE. Make sure that you respond to the case within 2-3 days. The seller is given 2-3 days to respond. If he does NOT issue a return shipping label or a refund, you go ahead and ESCALATE the case. Do NOT respond to the seller. Do NOT close the case if they ask you to close it.

I received product last week but am unable to leave positive review because the feedback button is missing on cellphone app. I can click stars and write comment but there is no submit "feedback button". However the button does appear when i login through a web browser.
