Have been reporting the blantantly obvious "price gouging" listings here and there, just because. Threw one on my watch list to do later when I had the time. Just got an offer from the seller for a discount---Lot of 10 Curad Germ Shield Face Masks---was $900,now the bargain price of $850. Enough already, can't eBay temporarily suspend these sellers till this isn't an issue anymore? Doesn't look like removing listings one-by-one is making much of a dent. Shut em down for awhile, plenty of good people to purchase from on eBay. Buyers don't want or appreciate these types of sellers.🕊️

toilet paper & paper towels that never seem to be in stock.
Lol,total opposite in my neck of the woods, we've got paper products(but they limit them, which is a good thing), but was trying to help a woman locate anything bacterial-wipe or spray& none to be found. She was panicky, but who isn't, don't we all wish this was past already?
I did cheat tho, I drove to a small college town a few miles away cause I knew it would be pretty much unpopulated. And left home before the sun came up. It helped, barely anyone there.🕊️

Have a friend in local county government/law enforcement&was talking to him about all the horrendous gouging happening here & elsewhere. Sadly,eBay took the prize on the volume of people making money off it&it's well-known. Not a good thing.
I think the biggest problem that may come out of all of this is many people wondering how safe it is to buy online on sites that allowed this.
Reported baby wipes today(alot). What kind of person sells bum wipes for $100 or more?

EBay is as much a skid mark on humanity as the sellers during this period of crisis. Enough truly is enough. Shut eBay down until COVID-19 is over.
It would be unfortunate if that were to actually happen. There are so many of us who depend on marketplaces like e-Bay for so many things. And especially now with so many shops closed.
Just boycott the sellers. Don't bid. Don't buy. Report listings that violate. And be on your way.
It's the buyers who ultimately decide whether or not the sellers will prosper.

"...eBay needs to post a message stating that all listings related to any sanitizers or toilet paper are banned at the present time. Violators will be permanently suspended from the site. They need cooperation from PayPal as well to prevent any payment processing. I know that it difficult to ferret out all these listings as many people are trying to disguise them..."
Well, ebay and paypal making tons of money from similar listings..:-)

Restaurants, brick and mortar stores weren’t responsible for the virus. They got **bleep** down. Why spare eBay? Especially when they have sellers as we speak engaging in hoarding and price gouging. My local store doesn’t do that. What’s wrong with eBay and it’s sellers? Shut it down is the only solution.

Does ANYBODY realize how bad this makes eBay & their sellers look? I'm starting to be embarrassed to admit that I buy here, how the heck do sellers feel? No Way they are all okey with the way this has(or not) been handled. No where to this extent but here...

wish there was more honestly among people in a crisis situations.
SO true, why does it all come down to making the almighty dollar, always.....Am blessed to live where it's not very crowded,so most things are still available,as long as you're willing/able to drive over the river & thru the woods.
Been hearing stories about the sewage systems in some areas already having major issues due to what people are flushing(even torn-up T-shirts). Should never have to be this way-not in the country we live in.
Would be a good thing if the people that participate in this kind of "theft" spent some time incarcerated after this is all over. Would make me feel better about it a all.

more than retail price on a item ( toilet paper ) As its no where to be found where I live.
Don't know if you'd be interested, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway, in case someone else is. I help out every few weeks delivering for a local church food (&much more) bank - to people who can't get to them. They keep it incredibly well-stocked (all donated) and even now it's lower than the norm but doing well.
I'm not even a member of the church, just have friends that are.
For whomever might need a little assistance thru this.....Make a couple calls in your area and either they can help or tell you who can. Am sure there are those that will get supplies to you also. We usually do it every six weeks, but are stepping it up for now, people need it. If you hit a brick wall, call another church, this is what they're here for-to serve others.🕊️

Actually I hope on that particular item it does go for that amount! Buyer then either returns said item or finds one available somewhere else and returns it to the seller. By then seller has spent the money and is out even more money from PP fees!

These products are back in our stores but they are limiting people to one package with no returns. I imagine an enterprising individual would just go around and buy that one item at all the stores they could but if those items get banned here they may have to sell at a loss. Even P2P apps are now taking down these listings.
