Been searching for a type of auto for weeks. Some Dealers, in their description states they add - after you win via the HIghest Bid - a Document Processing Fee. In some cases, $299 or more.
A Dealer posted what I am interested in, but did not say if they charge a Document Processing Fee. So I sent them that question. They didnt respond to my question, I had the HIghest Bid - BUT since they didnt answer my question, I didnt raise my bid. No one reached the Reserve.
I used the Dealer's name and location to find their website - on it, they state they charge a $899 Document Processing Fee. WILL THEY ADD THAT FEE, IF I WIN THE BIDDING ON eBay?
So the Dealer reposted the vehicle. This time I send them the same question each day - Do you charge a Document Processing Fee for items sold on eBay? If so, how much?
And they are not answering. So I am wondering - shoud I avoid buying on eBay?

A lot of car dealers do add a lot of fees when selling a car. Those fees are usually negotiable during the haggling at the dealership. I'm not sure about them adding things on an eBay Motors sale though. Of course, you do realize that bidding on eBay motors is not binding on either party, right?
Frankly, I wouldn't buy a car online but that is just me.

Auto sales are non binding. Either party can just walk away. Might be a good time to do so.
Those fees are a common scam of sleazy dealers.
