I am sick to death of dishonest sellers in China flooding search results with their **bleep**! No to mention the misleading photos and information re: their product and concealing the fact that they’re shipping from China!
eBay doesn’t seem to police this in the least and it’s getting worse and worse. It doesn’t matter how you try to refine your search to avoid them, they’re the first 30 sometimes 40 and 50 results with legitimate sellers results mixed in so you can’t just dismiss the entire first few pages bc a legitimate sellers would be overlooked. I cannot believe this had been allowed to continue all these years. It’s extremely frustrating, it’s disrespectful to both honest and legitimate buyers and sellers and it’s a huge waste of time .
Factor in the GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM (Canada) and its really not worth it to bother with eBay at all.
Please make clear to members that they can turn off the GPS for things made in a NAFTA country for example and do something about the Chinese scammers who are destroying eBay!

I would like ebay China to have its own separate site...
The amount of cheap rubbish is annoying....their feedback is entertaining though!!

Ebay makes a fortune off of the China sellers. Look how many listings they have (in the 10's of thousands on one site alone) and if a buyer files a NAD claim, they simply give you back your money and continue to list and sell things that US ebay sellers would be reprimanded for...it's a no win. Money talks and b******t walks.

Alas! People from different cultures often have different concepts by which they live their lives. If memory serves, China was once known for having a high standard of integrity. However, that may have changed with the Cultural Revolution when many of the better educated citizens were purged. Of course, that is mere conjecture on my part.
I notice that you don't seem to like the GSP program either. Considering that it is primarily designed to entice seller unwilling to sell internationally to do so. It is something that if it didn't exist some buyers would lack access to items being offered by sellers that use it.
While I believe that many buyers, from Canada especially, dislike it, without it they couldn't buy. Frankly, I got tired of Canadian buyers asking me to mark shipments as gifts so I quit shipping there. Of course, not all Canadians asked that of me, but it doesn't take too many to sour one's taste for something, does it?

I thoroughly agree with your analysis. Each time you buy from a Chinese seller, or for that matter, an Indian seller, you were just looking for trouble. I have also found that when a Chinese seller uses the word natural, it means man-made. I have stopped purchasing Rocks and minerals from all sellers in China, India and Pakistan. I am only purchasing from the United States in Canada.
