Click and collect issues

I ordered an eBay package to be collected at a nearby Argos, for a few reasons I was unable to collect it during the 7 day collecting period. 

I checked at the Argos just in case and they don't have it, however it is wasn't sent back to the sender either. I haven't found much advice on what to do so could I please have some guidance. 

For extra information, the package arrived at the Argos about a month ago

You are located in the U.K. but have posted your problem on the U.S. based site's community (ebay.com).  We do not have Argos facilities in the U.S. and the pickup or collection time frame rules may be different in the U.K.
