Can't Do A Category Search For Ebay Items.

I'm unable to search for items using the category search. Is anyone else having this problem? Or is it just my computer.

What category are you trying to search?  If the category still there? i.e. eBay removed many of them  and if you are using "saved searches" that may be the problem.  Browsing a category that no longer exists may be the issue.  Please feel free to offer more details.  This is an interesting topic, and hopefully others with a similar experience can offer advice.

Ebay recently did away with thousands of categories in the collectibles areas, which was 95% of what I bought here. When they did that, the vast majority of my saved searches stopped working. Try your search in a broader category using more keywords. It's an inelegant solution, and it still won't work as well as the old category searches, but in the new eBay it's all we have and all we're going to have.

I was searching various things in the collectibles categories.  I'm now on a different computer and now everything is going OK.

Chances are the other computer needs to have its temporary internet files and cookie cache cleared out.  If there are browser or operating system updates you have not downloaded, you may need to do that.

I have that problem in Chrome, in both versions I have - AVG Chrome and regular Chrome.

It works in Firefox.

This just started today.

Your right I have a small  Chrome book.  Can you or anyone else show me how to go about doing this suggestion?

I'm trying to download Firefox now and it's saying it doesn't support it.
