I recently purchased a pallet of Good Will items and was supposed to have gotten it on yesterday. I checked my status today showing the delivery date and it said it was delivered on yesterday. I called to verify and had my brother looking for out for it and no one called me on yesterday to tell me it had arrived because it hadn't. I checked to see how it was delivered so i can start to search for it. It said it was delivered by USPS. I thought how could the mail lady deliver a huge pallet of goods? What is going on?? I need to find my pallet and is someone playing a trick on me?? Either the seller played me and took my money and sent me a little box of goods and the mail lady stole it or this item was not shipped out or delivered through USPS. Has anyone else experienced this?

USPS will not deliver a “pallet.”
Have you tried to contact the seller?

This is strange. Are you sure it wasn't local pickup? What method of shipping was in the listing?
What was the listing number?

If it's the seller you got feedback from, they don't sell by the pallet.
You just get a box of stuff they choose, which isn't allowed.

What is the item number? You have feedback from a seller that shows pallets of items in the pic but their ads are for wholesale lots. Says pallet is not included. AND you aren't buying everything on a pallet. You're buying an assortment of items with a MSRP of a specific dollar amount. It could come in a small box! A small box of cosmetics could be worth a hundred bucks.

So that seller is rated Top Rated Plus despite the fact that what he is selling is "mystery boxes", just on a grander scale?
Does that seem right?

FAB: So isn't this just a new way to sell "mystery boxes" which are not allowed to be sold unless the seller lists everything that's in the mystery box, thereby cancelling the "mystery" part of it? These are apparently mystery pallets or mystery lots which I would have assumed are not allowed either.
And, speaking of mysteries, why is a seller who appears to be breaking the rules (at least as I understand them) shown as Top Rated Plus?
Asked this question on Mentors Lounge, but no answer yet.

Weren't we just discussing this on a thread about buyers not reading descriptions properly? A pallet vrs a mystery box..big huge difference.

Tons and tons of TRS sellers break the rules, that's why TRS doesn't mean a toot anymore, especially to those of us who do our best to provide stellar service and then have to compete with those lowlifes.
I see a few posting on the board sometimes, trying to figure out how to get out of a return when they have free returns.

Even at a live auction buying whole pallets can be a risky proposition. The transportation of such things usually requires shipping outside of those offered by USPS or other carriers normally used by eBay sellers.

In the particular listing involved here, the seller pictures pallets, but in the description, states you do not get a pallet.
My point was, originally, that this is the "mystery box" story, just presented a different way that evidently allows a TRS seller to get away with it.

these listings are a huge violation which is why his feedback is so bad.

Pallets like this are easy to buy, very risky, cost more than $30 and will ship freight. You can get returns/donation pallets or even full truck loads from tons of companies just be aware that they are highly risky

If one of us tried listing something like that our listings would have been removed.
Did you notice how many of those listings they had?

But they aint selling it by the pallet, just a box they toss some stuff in, but they don't tell you what.
