Im doubly effed, because I over reacted, as the sellers messaging isnt on, and I need the damned things because I need to visit at a golf club, so I need golf stuff by an exact date. So I left wrong feedback. My first thought was that it went to the wrong place. But Now Im starting to realize that Las Vegas is where they eyeball the stuff to authenticate it. Good Lord, I am so freaked out. Please, someone who has bought or sold authenticated stuff, help this poor soul. Is it normal for it to be shipped to the authenticator and then to me? And what can I do to revise my mistakenly bad feedback?

The seller can send you a Feedback Revision form. You can set things right... relax.

Wow..first, do NOT buy anything that is time sensitive on Ebay...it is not like "The River", where most things are delivered in two days..
Second, before you leave such feedback..WAIT till you know exactly what is going on..I read it and it sounds like someone irrationally freaking out..

Yes authentication goes to the authinticator: and if passes: it then goes to you.

The seller has nothing to do with messages being turned off, Ebay shuts them off.
Yes, it's normal for them to be shipped to the authentication center first, then they'll ship them to you.

I'm sorry you got all messed up and flustered but it was good that you added the comments to the feedback for now, and the seller should be able to get the negative removed.
And, as you later surmised, items are sent to the authenticator and, if they pass inspection they will be sent on to you. If you do not pass, they will be returned to the seller and you will be refunded.
In the meantime, all you can do is wait and hope. Or buy what you need locally.

You didn't know that they would go to the authenticator first?
How would they be authenticated if that didn't happen?

"I am such an idiot."
LOL, I'm real good at saying stuff I wish I could take back.
Have some chocolate. Don't stress.

With messaging being turned off there is no way the buyer can ask them. lol

LOL. Fine suggestion!! With a little luck all will go well, I can undo the feedback, and not golf in my naked feet.

I should have thought of it. Honestly, I didn't give the authentication any thought. If I HAD, and I wish I had, I would have simply bought the Unauthenticated shoes, and they would be in my hands right now. Oh how I wish.

Any ball park idea of how long an authentication will take? The due date estimate is the 28th. If I get them that exact day, Im golden. But its got to be by then. Does it take weeks? Does it take days?

Oh, I hope that poor seller responds soon. That's ugly.

If the shoes don't arrive, golf in your bare feet. If anyone says anything, remind them that Sam Snead golfed barefoot, including nine holes at The Masters. Lee Trevino liked to golf in his bare feet, too, sometimes. Shoes are still optional, per the PGA.

For authenticity guaranteed items, ebay doesn't allow messaging between the buyer and seller so it's ebay who locks the ability to contact each other.
My inference is that ebay doesn't want buyer and seller to figure out a workaround to circumvent the authentication process so they make it so you can't contact each other.
In order to request that the seller send a feedback revision request, you might be able to do it through the seller's feedback page and use the "Contact member" link and use the option that says it's not about an item. It might let you contact to explain your mistake and ask for the revision form.
