So I bought a Pixel Fold in 2023 from a seller. Listed as Verizon locked. Didn’t have any notion of it being financed. I wouldn’t have bought it if it did. Sold the phone months later.
Just today got a message from the buyer of the phone saying it was not paid off and would like a portion of the money refunded. Does anything happen?

Talked To support. Said everything is good and it’s too far out to dispute anything. Yay crisis averted.

Nope. They only have 30 days to file a case. Sin months to a year with a credit card charge back.
A big reason to never buy such an item unless it's from a factory dealer. You never have clear title to it.

They could still go with a small claims court.

Awesome hope it doesn’t come to that.

Make sure you block this buyer ASAP...

You sold it two years ago and your buyer is just now contacting you after all this time?
MBG ran out a very long time ago and I doubt they can file a chargeback after this much time has passed.
As for small claims they would need to file in your location....doubtful that that will happen either. My intuition tells me your buyer is blowing hot air.
