Hollow celluloid sphere?

Here's something I haven't seen before. It feels like celluloid, though it looks so delicate I'm afraid to do anything to test it. It's light as air, and about 1/2" across.Have any of you folks seen anything like it?

Metal shank button-possibly enamel? Please help

Lithograph button with paste border

I have several buttons in two sizes and 4 different faces. Here is one of them. I have seen them listed and sold for over $100.00, but it seems the sellers know a lot more about them than I do.Can anyone give me an opinion?
