I found an old tin full of buttons that belonged to my mother. Most look ordinary to me but others are more ornate and unusual. I am selling my two 1949/1955 Singer machines this weekend and wondering if I should throw the buttons in with the deal. The "sewing gene" skipped a generation and I have no experience in this area. Should I pay more attention to the individual buttons and do some research first - if yes, where? TY
