A member of this group sent me a notice eBay sent out saying this group will be closed due to inactivity. Okay we haven't been that active but we should save this group so please post your button discussions and button pictures. -Carol- Moderator, Button Buddies

I received a similar message about Button Buddies. I do agree that if the members are not participating there is no reason to keep the group open.

I admit I have not been active in the group but I like the idea of the group and hope it won't be closed too hastily.

I plan to read the group's posts now, and if I have nothing to post here immediately, I will plan to check back on the group frequently in the near future, at least until this is resolved.

They are closing a lot of groups due to inactivity. I have not being doing much with my buttons.

You will need to post something in order for it to count so just popping in and reading will not register as activity. I too hope they keep it open for the information.

I'm also guilty of not participating. I had actually forgotten about this group until I received the email that it might be closed. There aren't many sites on the web that I have found about collecting antique buttons. I'd be really disappointed if this group were closed.

Boy talk about having too much going on in life...did not even remember I was a member here until the email notice. And what a reminder...of the multi-gallon tote full of buttons.....LOL

Perhaps the threat of closure will activate all of us! :-x

Saying hello

I think I have most everything ready for Christmas, I have to get the mailing stuff packed up and mailed out Monday and get the rest of the things for the kids wrapped and all packed away in a tote so we can just pick them up and go. We are going on Sunday 23rd to Saskatoon to our daughters family and then on Christmas day to Wynyard to our Son's family, then home that evening. I hope the weather cooperates.
