Thanks very much, have emailed them.

I thought it was Bloomsbury Auctions but also had a vague recollection that it was someone on EBay.

Again, thanks for your time.

Ask any question about any book Part II

I have an old copy of Pinocchio by Collodi, illustrated by Folkard (4 in color, many b&w throughout). There is no copyright or publication date. The publisher is A. L. Burt. The inside covers and free end pages (hope that's the correct term) are decorated with small animal pictures printed in green like the color of the book's cover. Is there any way I could date this? I suppose it's not worth much, but I plan to try to sell it, so I'd like to offer at least an approximate date of publication.

Where can I look? None of those similar to mine that are listed on ABE are dated either. None on eBay match mine either.

Any help is much appreciated.

When I can't find the date of a book
I generally go to WorldCat or Library of Congress

http://www.worldcat.org/

http://catalog.loc.gov/

Unfortunately, in this case, that doesn't help

Oh well... Thanks anyway.

I did find one on eBay described as antique even though it was published in 1955, so I guess I shouldn't be so picky. If that's antique, my copy qualifies as a relic.
