I think Roger actually invited me to this group, and many of you know that I am one of his biggest fans. He is just the nicest person, and any place he spends much time at has to be full of nice people, too. I love all kinds of beads, am partial to gemstones and pearls and interesting, unusual lampwork focals and sets. I, too, have spent time at other groups, found some members to be elitist (I'm being kind) or condescending. Then there are those who want to spend all of their time whining about everything, wonder if they ever smile.
This is a great, diverse group of people, with all levels of experience and many different types of materials. There is always someone to answer a question or offer coffee, chocolate or other treats, even if it's only virtual reality. I was always taught that a smile can be heard over the phone, and while that is true, I believe the same is true in the overall tone of conversation in the group. These folks make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.:-x They also are a veritable wealth of information, and I am still trying to catch up on some of the old post on the other threads. Did I mention that they also allow me to wax poetic and don't tell me to shut up.
Hugs to all,
Anna-Marie
