wrong item replacement

Hi,

I've been scammed on eBay before, so I am leery of this.

The seller sent the wrong item.  I asked for a replacement.  This is the reply:

"Oh no! I'm so sorry. I will send out the correct 8mm size today. You can keep the incorrect size or maybe donate them to your local hospital or nursing facility. If you would be so kind and cancel the return request so ebay releases the held funds back to me so I can have the money to pay for the shipping it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your business and your understanding. "

My question is: Should I cancel the return request?

NO!! Do NOT cancel the Return Request.

Seller is lying to you. If you close the Return Request the seller will not send you anything and you won't be able to ask Ebay for help.

3 days after you filed the Return Request, go back to your Request and click on the link for Ebay to step in to help you.
