If you don't want to use the app, ask the buyer to sign a copy of the eBay order form at the time of pickup.

@stockandstoreau  u keep it as proof of pick up,

if the buyer doesn't object, i would video them signing and acknowledging they picked up and approve the item.

altho ebay states to have the buyer sign the order form, the video is just my personal back up.

eBay pay seller but they won't do that without proof of pickup

You can contact the buyer and ask the buyer to send you the 6-digit code instead of the QR code that the buyer received.

Purpose of proof of pick up  to ensure eBay pay seller without unreasonable delay

For eBay to say only way to do that is through the QR code is cumbersome seller should be able to do that via the computer

The buyer can use the CONTACT SELLER link in Purchase history to send a message and include the 6-digit code.
