Purchased a VHS DVD unit from seller and VHS side did not work, he initially promised to send me another unit with just a VHS and due to my cancer journey he told me I did not have to return the broken unit. Then I saw the unit he promised to sent me up for auction on his site. Wrote many emails to him, then he said he decided he wanted the broken unit returned and would send a ship label, never happened. Now he will not even answer any emails. Time has run out now for Ebay to step in. He has a 100% feedback yet I wonder if he does this to other customers, string them along until time runs out and then they can do nothing and he simply ignores all emails. Has anyone else had issues like this.

Never close or let a case expire without asking ebay to step in. You will now have to file a dispute with the payment processor, but you then may have to pay for return shipping instead of the seller.
In the future it is always best to get a refund rather than wait for a replacement.
