i purchased a pair of headphones and while i didn’t like them at first now i’m pretty sure they are fakes because the serial number isn’t real.
i started a return, but the seller no longer exists. i have an address to mail them back but it’s an overseas address so the shipping is expensive. and sense the seller no longer exists i have no confidence i will get my money back so im hesitant to spend the money to ship.
ebay won’t help me until the return is complete. i feel so stupid what should i do? anyone have a situation similar?
thank you!

The seller should be paying the return shipping if the item is not as described. Customer service can instruct them to send you the money for the return shipping.
To speak to customer service, use the link on this page “have us call you” - https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
If you don't see 'have us call you', click chat. Then type contact an agent.
