So I just purchased an item that is in Japan. Seller has great, almost perfect feedback, and has sold a lot on Ebay. Their auction was a "buy it now" auction, which I did and paid for the item. The item said "Free Shipping" for the item. Well now the seller has messaged me and said they would like me to pay an additional $10 for shipping charges. Is this common? Should I pay it? Or should I refuse to pay the extra and take a chance on them being mad at me, and damaging my item? Thanks for any help.

@clownfish1 sellers are not allowed to ask for more money than what is advertised on the listing.
u can report them from this ebay link> https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/reporting-item-issue-seller/report-issue-seller?id=4022&st=3&pos=1&...
if the seller damages your item, you can open a return case for that reason and get a full refund.
